Bought for my oldest daughter. She LOVES the game. I have played with her. The way the characters sound when they talk is kinda wierd and funny. Makes us laugh. My daughter loves almost all the sims games.

Sims Game for Playstation 2 is Wonderful for All! Try not to Pass Up any Playstation 2, The Sims games are all wonderful. Just make sure their Seller rateing is high so you collect games as soon as possible. All Playstaion Games are great for the Whole Family!

I like the "Sims" and all but its slow loading. I had a good time on it and I bought it first thing it came out. The Sims2 Pets is good but not as good as the first 2. It is hard to take care of your pets. It is bad graphics. Your cats and dogs don't look like the breed you chose. They need more types of cats and dogs. The chihuahua doesn't look like one. Their heads and ears are bad on details. A chihuahua's head is round. Its just different. It doesn't look real to me.
I like the game though. Its fun to work on Sims. You have to have 2 Sims.
While one goes to work,the other sim stays to clean, make a meal for the sim that left for work,and take care of your cat or dog (Dog). Don't go to a big piece of land. Choose the cheapest spot and move in. If you have to build a house build it small but big enough to live in. Make a square room and a tiny bathroom with a shower and a toilet. Outside make a small fence. Put a door in the fence that has the paw on it and lock it when your dogs go in. For cats you must build a small room but with scratching posts. Things to put in fence are a dog house and a bowl or more if you have more than one dog. Put a toy in the fence and make sure to visit your pets. To put in cats is just the scratching post a liter box and a bed.
Put your beds anywhere but keep the house neat and clean. Just put things that a Sim will need in the house. Work and work and work and when you get the money move to a nice house or landscape. If needed build a house. Medium size, WIDE. Then after you have moved to FISHBONE ISLAND just build what you need and a little bit of cool things and just live your SIMS life.
Now about the game. The good and bad of the game.
GOOD.
1.Its good for kids.
2.If you love animals its recommended for you.
3.If you play Sims this is a game to buy.
4.Great gift.
5.It takes your mind off of stuff.
6.Its fun and all that.
7.Also good for gamers.
8.You create a Sim or Pet and customize the head,Body,and fur.
BAD.
1.Slow loading.
2.Bad graphics.
3.It can get old fast.
4.It can freeze up and then continue.
5.No STORY MODE.
6.Half of your clothes are different.
7.You don't have all the clothes you had in SIMS2 or SIMS.
8.Your dogs and cats tear things up a lot that you buy.
9.It takes forever to get money.(I'm sorta impatient)
So to the basics. Its worth the money. Don't buy it new if your trying to save money.
This is overall a game that is kid friendly.

there qas no point in callin this game sims pets because its like any other sims game wit pets u dont even get to control wat they do u just watch them run around ur still only taking care of your sim and that get borin..
for the most part u can go to this place town square were u get to hang out wit other sims and let ur pets intereact with other pets u can was ur pets there and do some shopping or just sit around and eat ice cream...its better than sitting at home wit nothing to do..
for the most part this game was fun for me but it needs some more social movements..rent thise game first to see if u like it[not everyone will] i enjoy playin this game..you should get at it ;]
