Product Description You can protect your Wii Remote, with the Wii MotionPlusconnected, from the wear and tear of everyday use with this stylish silicone sleeve from CTA Digital. The soft silicone material acts as an absorbent to lessen the impact in the event of the remote being tossed or dropped, which is sure to happen with active game playing. The cover has cut-out openings in areas that correspond with the buttons to allow easy accessibility. Perfect for preserving your Wii Remote with MotionPlus adapter connected in mint condition as it was when first purchased. This silicone sleeve is truly a must have for every Wii MotionPlus owner.

Wii Grip August 13, 2010 Michael Kerner (Brooklyn, New York U.S.A.) When it does come down to the Nintendo Wii, it definitely has shown to be one of the most definitive game systems on the market. Yet when there is a great accessory, there always can be one that isn't so great, and that comes with CTA. When they've made several different accessories for the Wii, they've just felt like they have been more novelties, and not really strongly made for all gamers. For CTA, they've also made a sleeve for the Wii-mote, which handles for the specialty use of the Wii's Motion Plus. While it might be a great idea, the grip is much better on the one you get when you buy the Wii-mote & the motion Plus add-on together. Overall, I honestly have said this before and I will keep saying it. Stick with Nintendo's accessories for the Wii.

Not necessarily needed July 27, 2010 Rich (New Jersey) I purchased this sleeve for my grandson when we upgraded his Wii control to "Motion Plus." However, the "Motion Plus" controll add-on comes with the silion sleeve.
Meh... June 16, 2010 MLD (Delaware, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The simple fact is while this sleeve has it's advantages (being able to 'slide' the wiimote from the bottom up as opposed to the tugging and pulling of a Nintendo brand sleeve), the official Nintendo brand sleeves that Nintendo sells directly are cheaper, sturdier, and don't feel all latex-ey (and that's the last thing I want something shaped like the Wii remotes to feel like). Not recommended but not completely useless either I guess; though there is no reason to buy this because as stated, official sleeves are actually cheaper than this knock-off, and that includes shipping. BLAH.

Not as good as the Nintendo branded Wii sleeves April 6, 2010 Zippy the Pinhead 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this at the same time I bought a Wii Motion Plus module to add to my stock Wii Remote. I turns out that the Wii Motion Plus module from Nintendo comes with a much better quality sleeve than this one; had I read the product page for the Motion Plus module carefully, I probably would have noticed that. This sleeve is as shown in the picture, so look closely. It is very thin, and would probably not adequately protect the remote if it was dropped, and would not protect anything that the remote was accidentally lobbed at.
I don't recommend this product, it is too cheaply constructed and uses individual cutouts for each button, so it is kind of difficult to get the sleeve properly positioned and installed.
I would return this item, but at $5.99 it's not really worth the time to go through all that.
