This is a great mouse pad. When combined with a mouse from the Cyborg series, it really makes it worth the money.

Theres 2 sides of this thing a precision side the blue and the speed side the red(I like the speed side better like the other reviewer said its like moving your mouse on ice)...well what cyborg/saitek have done is that they took the precision side and the speed side and sandwiched it in between a thin strong sheet of aluminum...which makes it more durable and if your laptop user which uses a mouse(expect of the track pad) on unstable surfaces(like a bed) this is perfect for you the aluminum doesn't make the mouse sag or sink in it stays flat just as on table...well I think this pad is worth the 25-30 bucks for us gamers/heavy internet users I rated it 4 stars I recommend it but its not something to go crazy about...over all it was a good buy for my use...(I posted pictures)...
P.s. the precision side is great for sniping on COD MW 2 and the speed side is perfect for going Rambo :p...

This is easily the best mouse pad I've ever used. Its great for the couch or the bed, because it is rigid and durable. The speed and precision sides are a nice feature, too.
The only reason I give a 4 star rating is because I think the price is a little high.
But, if you are looking for the best and/or you have an extra $20 to spend, get it, you won't regret it.

Slo-Hand
Both of these surfaces are smooth,the blue/black surface being slightly smoother than the burgandy/black surface. These are not the ideal surfaces for web browsing if you have a regular mouse as lower end mice will have trouble tracking the surfaces. I use a $32.00 cordless laser from Logitech and can not surf the web on these surfaces, however the same mouse performs perfectly fine for 'Deer Drive' which is a challenging shooting arcade game. That game has a mouse sensitivity setting in the options menu which I suspect is why this surface works well for that game and that mouse. You'll probably need to invest in a gaming mouse to take full advantage of these surfaces but I also have an even cheaper optical cordless laser that does track better on these surfaces. So for me I only break this product out for 'Deer Drive' and use a more traditional mouse pad like surface for everything else. This product looks good and is made of durable,sturdy aluminum while not being too heavy so you can hold it in your lap while playing a game. It's only 9 inches by 12 inches so think a sheet of paper and you have the general size. Some games might require a larger surface depending on the game. I'm happy with the product but at $23.67 it's definitely not underpriced. If it was 12 inches by 16 inches and the same price, then for me it would rate 5 stars. In a challenging shooter, surfaces like these give you an edge becaused there is no drag on the mouse. But you probably already know that!

I originally had what I thought was a good enough pad for gaming a hard plastic one that was much better than your normal mousepad. I felt I could do better and have not been dissapointed with this one so far. It is dual sided and makes a WORLD of difference with the feel on your mouse its like riding on ice :)
